The XL4 is the new ergonomically designed, energy efficient patient light from EDL Lighting Limited. Its purpose is to cover a spectrum of applications within the Healthcare Sector ranging from hospital wards to doctor’s surgeries.
The XL4 embodies many unique features which ensures usability for both patient and medical staff.
The white base colour is enhanced by the colour co-ordinated options available.

The XL 600 is designed for use in the areas of examination and minor surgery where conditions require exceptionally good illumination. Applications range from Hospitals to Health Centres and Consulting Rooms.
The XL 600 is a 50 watt low voltage luminaire with an enclosed shade, the high frequency electronic transformer is housed on the back arm and a 50 watt dichroic lamp is fitted as standard.

| XL 600 Ceiling Mounted Examination Lamp |
|
This exceptionally stable adjustable ceiling mounted unit is extremely versatile, the lamp unit incorporates all of the specifications of the wall mounted XL 600 with the exception that the transformer is housed within the top cover. The unit has been designed for ease of use, the retractable inner pole enables users to position the lamp for maximum utilisation.The lower shoe will rotate approximately 320 degrees around the inner pole and the lamp will also rotate within the shoe in excess of 300 degrees, this gives the unit the ability to be used within the full circle of the mounting point.

The XL 40 is a versatile enclosed spring balanced arm luminaire, this unit is particularly suitable for wall mounting above beds. It is available with or without an on/off switch, the non switched version can be incorporated into nurse control systems. A full range of brackets are available.

This luminaire is fitted with either a 13 or 18 watt energy saving lamp and has the control gear mounted on the bottom arm. A louvre is supplied as standard. Where new or refurbishment is required then installation cost is minimised due to integral ballast the unit requires only standard power supply.

Mounting Brackets and Bases
This bracket is designed for rear fixing, it can be mounted onto vertical surfaces including trunking. Bracket size is 35mm W x 80mm H x 35mm D. It will accept the 12mm spigot from the XL range of luminaires. The facility for through wiring has also been incorporated along with a spigot retention feature. Colour is White (RAL9010) |

The BHT bracket is fitted to a mounting plate 180mm x 97mm and incorporates a three rectangular pin Klik socket for easy removal of the attached luminaire for maintenance purposes. It is designed for use with a rear mounting box (Appleby reference SB 636 - internal dimensions 154mm x 68.3mm x 35mm without centre bar).
